Steven Cantrell, MD

Dr. Steve Cantrell is a dedicated ophthalmologist with a passion for providing exceptional eye care. He is licensed to practice in California and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California at Davis. Dr. Cantrell earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ohio State University before completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Alton Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Louisiana. His commitment to excellence led him to pursue a residency in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University/Ochsner, where he honed his skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions.

Dr. Cantrell’s professional interests include cataract surgery, glaucoma diagnosis and management, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and laser eye surgery. He is a proud member of esteemed organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons, and the California Medical Association.

Additionally, Dr. Cantrell serves as President of the Tulare County Medical Society and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. With his expertise and dedication to advancing eye care, Dr. Cantrell continues to make a positive impact on the vision health of his patients and the community.
